Our artists strive to create interesting and compelling images for the designs that are available on York Nordic walking poles. Sometimes the inspiration comes from a feeling, like patriotism, which is behind the Go USA design. Others come from a look, such as our dark gray “Man Up”, which was inspired by one of our most active walker’s husband who just wanted a ‘tougher’ pole when he was putting in his miles!

Some of our most picturesque designs are inspired by our surroundings, such as Beach or White Birch. One that comes to mind during this hot July is Sunflowers, a beautiful depiction of sunflowers in full bloom during the summer months.

We know that designs alone won’t get people out pole walking, but we sure hope it helps. And, if the design is not important for your pole, you can always choose plain old Just Black!!
